If you need to sign a PDF file with a visual signature indicator that is not related to ACPR or the OneGate web portal, you can use the PAdES signature settings:
Click on "Configure the process".
In order to create a new profile, click on the icon "Add a new profile".
Type a name wich is recognizable enough for you, for exemple "PDF Signature" ; click on the button "OK".
Click on the icon "Select profile fragments".
Check the option "Basic PAdES visible signature" ; this will apply the correct technical parameters.
Click on "Evidence", in the "Selection of the evidence formats", choose "PAdES (PLP7)" or "Signed PDF (PLP7)" for older versions.
Click on the "Configure..." associated with "PAdES (PLP7)" (or "Signed PDF (PLP7)").
Check the option "Visible signature" ; you can add your own image in the field "image file:", it uses png, jpg files.
You can also check or uncheck the elements in the text configuration.
Click on "Advanced", and the "Viewing" tab. Check "Display a information dialog before processing a document".
This will allow you to place the visual element before signing:
For the older versions, mainly previous to 3.X, you can click on the "Revocation" tab. Then check "Abort the operation if the information of revocation have not been added":
Click on the button "OK".
For the versions 4.X and higher, other panels have to be considered, such as the following:
Click on "Properties", then on "Advanced signature" tab. Select "Advanced signature with long term validation data" for the Signature level.
Click on "Long term validation" tab. In the "Signer certificate revocation information" part, the combobox should be on "Add an OCSP response or a CRL", and the options "Use the OCSP responder URL which is specified in the certificate", "Use the CRL distribution point which is specified in the certificate" should be checked.
In the "Parents certificates revocation information" part, the combobox should be on "Add a CRL", and the options "Use the OCSP responder URL which is specified in the certificate", "Use the CRL distribution point which is specified in the certificate" should be checked.
